James Lo

James Lo is the founder of the firm James Lo, Esq., P.C. where he concentrates his practice in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. He is well-known in the New York Chinese-American communities for successfully representing individuals and families injured or killed in accidents caused by the wrongdoing of others. James received wide media attention in The World Journal and Singtao Daily newspapers and several of his cases were featured in the New York Law Journal’s Top Verdicts as among the highest verdicts and settlements in New York State.

James was selected to Super Lawyers, New York Metro for the tri-state area, an honor reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in his field. He was also named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers list of The National Trial Lawyers. James taught as an adjunct and special professor of law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and also mentors law students. He is active in professional organizations including the Asian American Bar Association of New York.

James’s core focus is to fight for his injured clients who cannot fight for themselves, and to treat them in the caring, compassionate and professional manner that they deserve. To this end, James tells clients “I know this is your only case and that you depend on me. Therefore I will do everything I can to get the best possible result for you.” Due to his philosophy of always putting the client’s interests first, James is proud to have a large number of satisfied clients, many of which refer their family and friends to him.
